Position: Support Engineer

Salary: 15,000 to 20,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to deliver timely support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, including fresh installation and system configuration.
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues with a basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
- Perform LAN cable crimping and basic network setup when required.
- Install and configure software applications, including VPN clients and other business applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot email clients, Microsoft Office, and other productivity tools.
- Respond to user queries and resolve technical issues within defined timelines.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and data backups.




- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and replacements.
- Maintain IT asset records, documentation, and service logs.
- Ensure the smooth functioning and security of office IT systems and infrastructure.

Requirements

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems.
- Basic networking knowledge, including network troubleshooting and LAN cable crimping.
- Experience in installing and configuring VPNs and other software applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
