Procurement Engineer (Electrical)

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical

About the Role:

We are looking for a energetic Procurement Engineer with hands-on experience in HT VCB, LT Panels, and Compact Substations (CSS). The role involves end-to-end procurement, vendor management, and ensuring timely availability of materials aligned with project and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand BOM and sales order requirements for accurate procurement planning
- Execute material planning and purchasing based on project priorities
- Develop and manage vendor network for electrical components
- Handle vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and lead time reduction
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production schedules
- Maintain optimum stock levels and avoid shortages/excess
- Manage urgent/critical procurement situations effectively




- Handle rejected/faulty material returns and replacements
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Stores, and Production teams
- Monitor order priority and delivery timelines

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of HT/LT Panels, VCB, CSS systems
- Positive understanding of electrical components (breakers, relays, CT/PT, busbars, cables, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation & communication skills
- Strong planning, follow-up, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage pressure situations & urgent deliveries
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel

Preferred:

- Experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing Industry
- Existing vendor network in Gujarat
- Exposure to costing & techno-commercial evaluation
