Educational Qualification & Criteria - B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience - 8 9 years (adaptable based on competency and exposure

Key Job Responsibilities -

1. The incumbent will manage procurement activities for power transmission and distribution projects, including CSS, RMU, conductors, switchgears, cables, and other Releated equipment. The role involves vendor identification and development, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, order placement, and coordination with internal stakeholders for seamless execution.
2. The candidate will handle RFQs, comparative statements, negotiations, PO finalization, delivery tracking, and coordination with logistics and stores. Strong control over procurement documentation, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to internal approval processes is essential.
3. The role also includes supplier performance evaluation, cost optimization, quality compliance, and support during audits and internal reviews.





Soft Skills / Softwares Needed -

- Strong knowledge of Power Transmission systems and materials
- Hands-on procurement experience in:
- CSS (Compact Substations)
- RMU (Ring Main Units)
- Conductors (HT/EHV)
- Switchgears (HT/LT)
- Power & control cables
- Power Grid / utility-grade equipment
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and standards
- Procurement & Commercial Skills
- End-to-end procurement lifecycle management
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capability
- Techno-commercial evaluation and cost control
- Experience with ERP systems and MIS reporting
