Job Description (JD) Logistics Analyst Position Summary We are looking for an analytical and proactive Logistics Analyst to support logistics planning, cost optimization, service monitoring, and business analytics. The role offers strong exposure to supply chain operations, digital tools, AI-based reporting, and cross-functional projects across plants and regions.

Key Responsibilities • Analyze logistics cost including TDC, PDC, SDC, freight trends, and plant-wise primary logistics cost. • Monitor dispatch performance vs plan and budget; identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities. • Prepare and manage daily MIS, dashboards, and business reports using Excel, BI, and AI tools. • Evaluate rail and road logistics operations for cost and service optimization. • Support freight analysis, freight master maintenance, and evaluation matrix monitoring. • Track OET, GPS, service levels, and other operational KPIs to improve delivery performance. • Identify SOP gaps, process deviations, and support audit closure activities. • Work with plant, sales, finance, and logistics teams to drive operational improvements and cost savings. • Conduct market and competitor logistics analysis to support business decisions. • Develop presentations,



analytical insights, and improvement proposals for management reviews. • Support digital initiatives, automation projects, and AI-enabled reporting systems. Desired Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Good knowledge of logistics, freight operations, and supply chain processes. • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools. • Basic understanding of AI tools, automation, and business analytics. • Good communication, presentation, and coordination skills. • Ability to work with data and convert insights into actionable outcomes. Qualification & Experience Graduate / Engineer / MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in logistics, MIS, supply chain analytics, or operations preferred.
