Key Responsibilities

- Receive, verify, and process procurement invoices raised by IT vendors/suppliers.

- Match invoices with Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) 2-way/3-way matching.

- Validate invoice details for accuracy (vendor details, tax, pricing, quantities, approvals).

- Ensure invoices are processed and routed for approval within defined SLAs.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Procurement teams) to resolve invoice discrepancies or holds.

- Track invoice status and follow up to ensure on-time payment to vendors.

- Maintain accurate records and update trackers/dashboards on invoice and payment status.

- Respond to vendor queries related to invoice and payment status.

- Support month-end/quarter-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

- Assist in preparing MIS reports on invoice processing, pending approvals, and payment timelines.

- Ensure compliance with client policies, tax regulations (GST/TDS where applicable), and internal audit requirements.

- Work within SAP (or similar ERP) system for invoice entry, tracking, and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Skills:





- Working knowledge of SAP (MM/FI module exposure) is an added advantage.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.

- Domain Knowledge:

- Basic understanding of procurement/invoice processing cycle (PO-GRN-Invoice matching) preferred but not mandatory.

- Soft Skills:

- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication skills (written and verbal).

- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Time management skills to meet payment deadlines.

- Willingness to learn client-specific tools and processes.

Preferred Attributes

- Prior internship or academic project exposure to accounting/finance operations.

- Basic understanding of taxation concepts (GST/TDS).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
