Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing vouchers and invoices.
Responsibilities include supporting monthly and annual closing activities, assisting with budgeting, and preparing internal financial reports for management review. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements,
and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will coordinate with project and operations teams to track expenses, monitor cash flow, and support audits and statutory filings.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Proficiency in accounting software(Tally) and MS Excel, with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, summaries, and reports.
Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and statutory requirements relevant to corporate and infrastructure projects.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and project teams on-site.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized financial records.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
Experience in infrastructure, construction, or project-based accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
