Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, processing payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll-related entries. The role involves preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Accountant will collaborate with project teams to track project costs, monitor cash flow, and provide accurate financial reports to management.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills,



including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and account reconciliation.

Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Candidates should possess skills related to accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and vendor and client account management.

Candidates should possess skills in tax compliance and regulatory understanding, including GST, TDS, and other relevant local tax norms.

Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and ERP software (such as Tally, SAP, or similar systems) and solid Excel skills.

Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an added advantage.

Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate industry accounting is highly beneficial.

Ability to work collaboratively with project and management teams, communicate clearly, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or government project domain.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
- Familiarity with government regulations, tender financials, and cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial audits.
- Ability to work with Tally Prime accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
