Role Description The Accountant role at My Travel Box Pvt Ltd is a full time, on-site position based in Mohali. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, generating periodic financial reports for management. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, supporting audits, and coordinating with internal teams to provide accurate financial information for business decision-making. The Accountant will contribute to improving financial processes and maintaining organized, up-to-date financial records.





Qualifications Candidates should possess solid core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and reconciliation of accounts.

Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and compliance, such as GST, TDS, and statutory filings.

Candidates should possess experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, such as ZOHO Books, Tally, or similar tools, and Excel skills.

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and auditors.

Relevant educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.

Prior experience in accounting within the travel, hospitality, or service industry will be considered an advantage.
