Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Tally Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, managing accounts payable/receivable, generating financial entries in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime, and assisting with tax compliance (GST, TDS) and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping & Entry: Record daily transactions in Tally, including sales, purchases, cash/bank payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Billing & Invoicing: Generate GST-compliant sales invoices, credit/debit notes, and purchase orders.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Process GST calculations and e-way bills, and assist with filing monthly/quarterly GST returns.
- Maintain TDS deductions, track due dates, and generate statutory compliance records.
- Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and reconcile ledger balances for vendors and clients.
- Inventory Management: Update stock levels, track material inward/outward, and reconcile physical inventory with Tally records.




- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, Balance Sheets, and MIS reports for management review.
- Audit & Documentation: Maintain organized physical and digital records of vouchers, bills, and receipts for audit purposes.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime.
- Taxation Knowledge: Basic-to-intermediate working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax filing procedures.
- Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Core Abilities: Solid numerical ability, high attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Tally Certification (e.g., Tally Essential / Tally Professional).
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing in Tally.
- Prior experience in [Industry Type, e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, CA Firm].
