Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and cost control activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, as well as assisting with audits and financial reporting for management.



The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making and support process improvements within the finance function.

This is a full-time, in office role based in India.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable processing, bank reconciliation, and vendor/customer account management.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting to support financial planning and control.
- Candidates should possess skills in tax compliance, knowledge of local accounting standards, and familiarity with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software and spreadsheets, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities, ethical conduct, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site manufacturing environment are beneficial.
