Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and monitoring cash flow in line with company policies and local regulations. The role involves assisting with budgeting, cost control, and inventory-related accounting,



as well as supporting internal audits and external compliance requirements. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making and help improve financial processes.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thiruvananthapuram.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to use accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to identify discrepancies and improve processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant, preferably in engineering, industrial equipment, or similar sectors.
