Ativeera is a Virtual CFO and financial advisory firm working with MSMEs, startups and growing businesses across Delhi NCR and Haryana. We are not a bookkeeping shop — our clients engage us for monthly MIS, financial analysis, working capital control, budgeting and board-level reporting. You will see how real businesses are run, from the numbers up.

The Role

You will work directly on client MIS and financial analysis under the guidance of the Founder (Chartered Accountant) and senior team members. This is a build-your-foundation role: within 12 months you should be able to independently prepare a monthly MIS pack for a mid-sized client and explain what the numbers are saying.

Key Responsibilities

MIS Reporting & Analysis (core focus)

- Prepare monthly MIS packs in Excel — P&L;, balance sheet summary, cash flow, and KPI dashboards
- Budget vs. actual variance analysis with written commentary on key deviations
- Ratio analysis — profitability, liquidity, leverage, turnover — and month-on-month trend tracking
- Debtors and creditors ageing, inventory ageing, working capital cycle computation
- Cost centre, product-wise and segment-wise profitability schedules
- Build and maintain Excel models, trackers and dashboards for clients

Accounting & Books

- Day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime / Zoho Books
- Bank reconciliation statements and resolution of unposted items
- Ledger scrutiny and month-end closing schedules (prepaid, accruals, provisions)
- Vendor, customer and inter-company account reconciliations

Compliance Support





- Data preparation and reconciliation for GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 2B matching)
- TDS working and challan data compilation
- Assist in audit and certification data collation

Client Coordination

- Follow up with client accounts teams for data, invoices and clarifications
- Maintain documentation, checklists and closing trackers for assigned clients

What We're Looking For Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter (including semi-qualified and those who have discontinued CA/CMA)

Must have

- Strong Excel — VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF logic, Pivot Tables, text and date functions, charts, conditional formatting
- Transparent grasp of accounting fundamentals — journal entries, three financial statements, and how they connect
- Genuine interest in analysing numbers, not only recording them
- Accuracy, ownership and willingness to recheck your own work
- Working proficiency in English (written and spoken) — you will send client-facing reports and emails

Good to have

- Tally Prime or Zoho Books exposure (academic or internship)
- Power Query, Power Pivot or basic Power BI
- Awareness of GST and TDS basics
