Rasila's Kitchen is a high-volume, multi-brand restaurant group in Ahmedabad (Rasila's Kitchen, Vaani - A Southern Tale, Ooru, Good Gut Club and upcoming units). We are hiring a Senior Accountant to lead finance and business controls: maintain accurate books, close each month on time, protect cash, verify purchases and settlements, and make outlet-wise performance visible. Payroll, HR documentation, administration and digital-system discipline are support responsibilities.

Role & responsibilities:

Daily sales, cash & channel reconciliation: Post and verify daily sales for dine-in, takeaway, direct orders, Zomato, Swiggy and each cloud brand; reconcile Petpooja/POS with Tally, cash, UPI, cards, discounts, refunds and bank credits; maintain the daily cash book and ensure counter cash is banked by the next working day.

Books, bank & monthly closing: Maintain complete Tally Prime books per legal entity and cost centre; complete AP/AR, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets and all bank/payment-gateway reconciliations; reconcile Zomato/Swiggy settlements including commission, ads, TDS/TCS and receivables; issue a flash outlet-wise P&L; by D+3 and a full management pack (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, BRS, ageing, taxes, payroll, stock) by D+7.

Purchase, vendor & working-capital control: Verify every purchase against approved order, GRN, invoice and rate register; maintain vendor master, ageing and payment calendar; obtain key-vendor ledger confirmations monthly; issue a weekly working-capital report.

Inventory, food cost & operational controls: Control inward, outward, transfers, wastage and consumption records; coordinate physical stock counts; report actual vs theoretical food cost and variances; maintain the purchase-to-sales tracker (target food cost 29.5-30%).

Payroll, HR admin & statutory coordination: Prepare department-wise payroll and reconcile to Tally/bank; maintain employee KYC and records; prepare GST (GSTR-1/3B and GSTR-2B matching)



and TDS reconciliations; coordinate PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and LWF workings; keep books audit-ready with the CA.

Digital systems & responsible AI: Use Tally Prime, advanced Excel, Petpooja/POS, online banking, payroll/HRMS tools, OneDrive and RAOS; complete company training on approved AI-enabled tools during probation and independently verify every figure against source documents.

Note: The employee may prepare and recommend but not self-approve vendor payments, salary changes, advances, write-offs, new vendors or purchase rates. Maker-checker discipline applies to every transaction.

Preferred candidate profile:

B.Com or M.Com; CA Inter / CMA Inter or a relevant finance qualification preferred.

4-6 years hands-on accounting experience, including at least 2 years in restaurant, hospitality, food business, retail or another multi-unit, high-transaction operation.

Strong Tally Prime knowledge and practical Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reconciliation working papers).

Hands-on GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, vendor ageing, inventory accounting, payroll and monthly closing.

Able to read POS/Petpooja exports and Zomato/Swiggy settlement reports and turn them into reliable reconciliations.

Fluent Hindi and workable Gujarati; practical written English for reports and statutory coordination.

High integrity, accuracy and confidentiality; willing to provide two professional references and prior-employment proof.
