Role Description The Account Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations, including handling petty cash, posting entries, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with invoice processing and vendor payments.

The Account

Assistant will help with credit control activities such as tracking receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and preparing basic financial reports for management review.



Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant financial procedures.

Qualifications

- Solid accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Experience or knowledge in finance functions such as invoice processing, payment tracking, and preparing simple financial reports.
- Ability to manage petty cash and support credit control activities, including monitoring receivables and following up on dues.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with colleagues, management, and external partners.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with routine processes and deadlines.
- Relevant certification or diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is preferred.
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role, ideally within automotive or retail, is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and comfort working with ERP or accounting systems.
