- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement of engineering goods & services, preferably from the renewable energy, manufacturing or Telecom industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor development.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes & best practices
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software.
- Knowledge of engineering equipment, industry standards, and technical services
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience in team handling
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Key Deliverables:
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies for renewable energy projects, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Vendor Management & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, negotiate, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals, identify their training needs to achieve their KRAs & KPI as defined.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize procurement processes.
- Cost Saving: Ensure to deliver cost savings through negotiations & current vendors development without compromising on quality & safety protocols.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure to comply to the defined processes in order to meet the quality standards, protocols & ensure safety practices during the process.
- Ethics & Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and organizational guidelines in all procurement activities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends and new technologies in the solar industry. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality
