Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems, control systems, and automated production equipment within the food processing facility. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and supporting plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels.
- Support production equipment such as conveyors, Fryers, packaging machines, refrigeration systems, and processing lines.
- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs and VFDs systems.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment failures.
- Analyze electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Manage electrical improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and current installations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and food industry regulations.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve plant performance.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and equipment suppliers during installation and maintenance activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA)



and continuous improvement programs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 45 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably food, beverage, dairy, or FMCG industries.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
- Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley), or Schneider Electric systems.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networking.
- Understanding of food safety requirements and GMP practices.
