Based in Hyderabad, Role Description The 3D Animator will work full time on-site in Hyderabad, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and simulation specialists to bring realistic characters, vehicles, and environments to life for training simulators and XR experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating high-quality 3D animations, setting up and refining rigs, integrating motion capture data, and optimizing assets for real-time performance.

The role involves translating complex defense and aviation scenarios into clear visual sequences, ensuring accurate movement, timing, and interaction within virtual environments. The 3D Animator will contribute to storyboarding, prototyping, and iteration cycles, while maintaining consistent visual standards and documentation across projects. This role requires working in a multidisciplinary team, responding to feedback, and delivering production-ready assets on schedule.

Qualifications





Strong 3D Animation and Animation skills for characters, vehicles, and environments.

Proficiency in Rigging for complex models, including setup, skinning, and deformation control.

Experience with Motion Capture workflows, including cleanup and integration into animation pipelines.

Hands-on expertise with Blender or comparable 3D tools for modeling, animation, and rendering.

Solid understanding of real-time engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and optimization for interactive simulations.

Ability to interpret technical and scenario-based requirements into clear visual motion and camera work.

Robust collaboration, communication, and feedback-handling skills in cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Animation, Game Design, VFX, or a related field.

Experience with defense, aerospace, or simulation projects is a plus, along with familiarity with XR/VR environments.

Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
