Profile - Desktop Support engineer - Hardware

Day shift - 5 Days working

A. Scope of Work:

- Hardware Support: Fix or replace broken parts in laptops, desktops, printers, and tools.
- Software Setup: Install and update operating systems and everyday work programs.
- Network Help: Solve slow internet or bad Wi-Fi and local network links.
- User Assistance: Help workers in office or through remote tools when they have tech troubles.
- Ticket Tracking: Log, update, and close support requests in a helpdesk system.
- Issue Escalation: Send hard or advanced tech problems to higher IT groups.

B. preferred Competence Requirements:

- OS Expertise: Proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux installation and configuration.
• Hardware Repair: Hands-on fixing of laptops,



desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Networking: Basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi setup.
• Active Directory: User account management, password resets, and group policies.
• Remote Tools: Experience with remote assistance software and IT ticketing systems.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, Azure, or Citrix.

C. Required Qualifications

• BE or Graduate in Engineering, BE, BCA, or BSC in computer science.
