Role & responsibilities

- Full Chronological Flow: Arrange footage in the exact order the wedding day unfolded, ensuring no major ritual, family speech, or traditional custom is omitted.

- Multi-Camera Synchronization: Sync multi-cam angles (often 3 or more cameras) with external audio recorders for long-form events like the exchange of vows, religious ceremonies, and speeches.

- Complete Guest & Family Coverage: Ensure key family members, close friends, and significant guests are visibly included in the final video.

- High-Volume Footage Management: Efficiently organize, transcode, and archive massive amounts of high-resolution data (often several gigabytes per wedding).

- Classic Visual Presentation: Apply clean, straightforward transitions (such as cross-dissolves, fades to black, and straightforward lower-third titles identifying key moments or guests).

Preferred candidate profile

- Software Proficiency:



Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Apple Final Cut Pro (FCP). Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (for color grading) and Adobe After Effects (for basic motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds).

- Cinematic Editing: Ability to craft non-linear, high-emotion highlights (35 min teasers, 15–20 min films) using speed ramps, artistic transitions, and story-driven pacing.

- Traditional Editing: Ability to efficiently cut, clean, and arrange multi-hour long-form footage chronologically for traditional wedding videos, ensuring all critical rituals and key guests are included.

- Social Media Savvy: Experience creating fast-paced, high-engagement 30-to-60-second reels, shorts, and teasers optimized for Instagram and YouTube.
