Role & responsibilities

1. Follow up with suppliers as per the approved production and dispatch schedule to ensure timely completion and on-time delivery of outsourced components and valves.
2. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain inspection calls/inspection notifications once the products are ready for inspection.
3. Collect photographs of completed valves and obtain Material Test Certificates (MTCs), test reports, and other quality documents from suppliers for verification.
4. Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and supporting quality documents to ensure compliance with customer specifications, applicable standards, and purchase order requirements.
5. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA/QC) team to arrange supplier inspections by sharing inspection requests and all required documentation.
6. Follow up with the QA/QC team to ensure inspections are scheduled and conducted within the planned timelines.

Coordinate between suppliers and QC inspectors to facilitate smooth execution of inspections until commencement and completion of inspection activities.
8. Obtain and monitor daily inspection reports from QC personnel and communicate inspection progress to the concerned internal departments.
9. Follow up with suppliers to close all inspection observations, non-conformities, and compliance points raised during inspections.
10. Coordinate with QC inspectors and suppliers until all compliance points are satisfactorily closed and inspection clearance is obtained.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of valve manufacturing processes and components.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Understanding of Material Test Certificates (MTC 3.1/3.2), inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of inspection procedures and quality standards
