- Prepare and review U.S. Individual Income Tax Returns (Form 1040) and U.S. Trust & Estate Income Tax Returns (Form 1041).
- Prepare and review international information reporting forms including Forms 5471, 5472, 8938, 8865, 8858, 1116, 2555, FBAR (FinCEN Form 114), and Form 3520/3520-A, as applicable.
- Handle complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates while ensuring compliance with U.S. Federal and State tax regulations.
- Analyze foreign income, foreign tax credits, foreign asset reporting, and cross-border tax matters for individuals and trusts.
- Conduct tax research on complex Federal, State,
and International tax issues and recommend appropriate tax treatments.
- Review financial information, supporting schedules, and tax workpapers to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
- Coordinate with onshore teams and clients to resolve tax-related queries and obtain required documentation.
- Review work prepared by junior team members and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure timely completion of tax engagements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in U.S. tax laws, IRS regulations, and international tax reporting requirements.
