Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager to oversee financials, ensure compliance with accounting standards, income tax and verify the accuracy of bookkeeping records. The ideal candidate should possess solid technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to mentor team members while driving process improvements and operational excellence.

Job Description:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including transaction recording, vendor payments, receivables, and employee claims.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closures including ledger scrutiny, journal postings, and preparation of financial reports
- Ensure full compliance with applicable statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing, Corporate tax, Companies act, PF/ESI, and coordinate timely return filings and remittances.
- Supervise bank operations at the site including bank reconciliations, fund flow monitoring, and payment processing.
- Coordinate and support audits by facilitating documentation, schedules, and timely response to audit observations.




- Supports to accounts receivable and payable teams
- Supports to internal and external reporting

Qualification

- Chartered Accountant

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting review, or financial review functions.
- Prior experience managing a team is mandatory.
- Prior experience in IT industry will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software: Tally ERP
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping processes.
