Position: Executive / Sr. Executive Warehouse (Incoming & Put Away)

Job Purpose

Responsible for warehouse inbound operations, including material receipt, unloading, inspection coordination, put-away, material issuance to production, inventory control, and end-to-end material traceability. The role ensures efficient warehouse operations, high inventory accuracy, and compliance with established quality and safety standards. The incumbent should be adaptable and capable of working in a dynamic plant start-up environment, with hands-on experience in Oracle ERP warehouse transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform inbound material receiving, unloading, and verification of shipment documents, including Purchase Orders (PO), Advance Shipping Notices (ASN), Delivery Challans (DC), invoices, and packing lists. Execute Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in Oracle ERP.
2. Coordinate with Incoming Quality Control (IQC) for material inspection, manage quarantine and hold areas, ensure timely release of accepted materials, and segregate non-conforming materials (MRB/Hold).
3. Execute material put-away activities based on ERP-defined storage locations while ensuring FIFO, FEFO, or LIFO practices as applicable. Maintain complete batch/lot traceability and barcode identification.
4. Independently perform material handling, storage, labelling, bin management, and inventory transactions in Oracle ERP.
5. Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock verification, periodic and perpetual inventory activities, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
6. Coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability and smooth warehouse operations.
7. Monitor inventory health, including excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials, and implement corrective and preventive actions to optimize inventory performance.
8. Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, EHS requirements, warehouse SOPs, and 5S practices while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Achieve warehouse operational KPIs related to receiving, put-away, inventory accuracy, productivity, and material availability.
10. Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate warehouse records and documentation. Prepare, review, and update warehouse SOPs and work instructions as required.
11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory control, space utilization, and process standardization.
12. Supervise and coordinate contract manpower, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, productivity, and operational standards whenever deployed.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Any Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 35 years of experience in warehouse operations within electronics, semiconductor, automotive, EMS, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Inventory/Warehouse Management modules).
- Solid knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, FIFO/FEFO/LIFO, barcode systems, and material traceability.
- Experience in plant start-up or greenfield manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
- Good analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
