Education:

- B.Sc. / Diploma in Engineering
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS/ADIS/PDIS)
- Valid Work at Height Certification

Experience:

- 810 years of relevant experience in Power Projects, Thermal Power Plants, Renewable Energy, Substations, or other Energy Sector projects with extensive exposure to Work at Height activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client HSE requirements, and Work at Height standards throughout the project.
- Review and authorize Work at Height Permits (PTW) before commencement of elevated work activities.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) for all work-at-height activities and implement appropriate control measures.
- Inspect and certify scaffolding, ladders, mobile scaffolds, suspended platforms, and aerial work platforms (MEWPs) prior to use.
- Verify scaffold tagging, safe access, guardrails, toe boards, working platforms, and load capacities.
- Ensure the proper use of certified Full Body Harnesses, Double Lanyards, Shock Absorbers, Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs), and approved anchorage systems.
- Monitor structural steel erection, boiler erection, turbine erection, pipe rack installation,



equipment erection, cable tray installation, transmission tower erection, and maintenance activities at height.
- Verify that all anchor points, lifelines, and fall protection systems are inspected, certified, and suitable for use.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used at height are secured with tool lanyards to prevent dropped object incidents.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of scaffolding, ladders, fall protection equipment, PPE, and elevated work areas.
- Deliver daily Toolbox Talks, pre-job safety briefings, and Work at Height awareness training to employees and contractors.
- Ensure exclusion zones, barricading, warning signage, and access control are maintained beneath elevated work areas.
- Monitor crane lifting operations, heavy equipment installation, and simultaneous operations involving work at height.
- Stop unsafe work immediately and recommend corrective and preventive actions whenever unsafe conditions or practices are identified.
- Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, civil, and subcontractor teams to ensure protected execution of work.
