About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Indirect Tax team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have post-qualification experience and a solid understanding of Indirect Taxation alongside Central and State Government incentive schemes. The role involves advising clients, managing end-to-end application processes, coordinating with government authorities, and ensuring timely compliance and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comparative analysis and assess their applicability for client projects.
Evaluate clients eligibility for various government incentives and identify potential benefits.
Prepare detailed incentive, business cases, and supporting documentation.
Manage the preparation and filing of applications with relevant Central and State Government authorities.
Ensure timely filing of periodic returns and compliance requirements.
Liaise with government departments for clarifications, approvals, negotiations, and other regulatory matters.
Monitor and track policy changes, notifications,



and amendments issued by Central and State Governments.
Support clients in tracking, following up, and securing the disbursement.
Prepare high-quality presentations, policy briefs, analytical reports, and client-ready deliverables.
Manage end-to-end project execution while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide strategic advisory services to clients.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant work experience.
Experience in Indirect Taxation, Government Incentives, Industrial Incentives, Tax Advisory, Regulatory Advisory, or related consulting domains will be preferred.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
