Assistant Manager Procurement (Raw Materials)

Focus: Chemical sourcing, specialty ingredients, and R&D; collaboration.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Senior Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement of

specialty chemicals and raw materials. You will be the bridge between our R&D; lab and global

suppliers, ensuring that high-quality, specialized ingredients are available for our skincare

formulations while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Specialty Ingredient Handling: Manage a portfolio of skincare-specific chemicals,

actives, and raw materials (non-RTC). Ensure compliance with R&D; specifications.

- Material Planning: Execute precise stock planning and inventory optimization to prevent

stockouts in a high-growth environment.

- Vendor & Cost Negotiation: Lead negotiations with domestic and international





chemical suppliers to secure the best pricing and lead times.

- Share of Business (SOB): Analyze and manage the Share of Business across multiple

vendors to mitigate risk and ensure supply continuity.

- Complexity Handling: Manage procurement across multiple manufacturing locations

and a diverse SKU portfolio.

Requirements

- Experience: 4-7 years in Procurement/Sourcing within the Skincare, Cosmetics, or

Specialty Chemicals sector.

- Technical skills: Excel and ERP understanding. Sound understanding of raw

materials specifications and application.

- Education: Bachelor degree, chemistry background will be an added advantage.
- Mindset: Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of handling the rapid-paced R&D;

cycle.
