Role Overview
The Project Manager will be the single point of contact (POC) for various academic program at the university campus. This role is responsible for on-ground program execution, student engagement, and coordination between the university, faculty, and central delivery teams to ensure a seamless learning experience. The role demands strong ownership, operational rigor, and student-first thinking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campus Operations & Program Execution
- Act as the on-campus POC for various degree programs.
- Ensure smooth execution of classes, labs, workshops, and industry sessions
- Coordinate classroom readiness (digital boards, cameras, mics, internet) for live-streamed sessions
- Monitor daily schedules, session attendance, and session start/end hygiene
2. Student Engagement & Support
- Drive student onboarding including orientation, bridge courses, and LMS access
- Serve as the first line of support for student queries related to academics, schedules, and program delivery
- Track student participation, engagement, and early risk indicators (drop-offs, low attendance)
- Proactively communicate important updates, timelines, and action items to students
3. Faculty & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with on-campus faculty, visiting industry experts, and remote instructors
- Support faculty with hybrid tools, session logistics, and classroom setup
- Liaise with the central academic, employability, and operations teams
- Escalate issues with clear context and proposed solutions
4. Academic & Compliance Hygiene
- Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, academic calendars,
and delivery standards
- Maintain records related to sessions, attendance, assessments, and audits
- Support internal and external audits as required by the program
5. Employability & Experiential Learning Support
- Support execution of employability modules, certifications, internships, OJT/WLP initiatives
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, sector briefings, and career sessions
- Act as a bridge between students and placement/employability teams
6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Share regular reports on program health: attendance, engagement, issues, and resolutions
- Collect structured feedback from students and faculty
- Recommend process improvements to enhance student experience and delivery efficiency
Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust on-ground execution and ownership mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High comfort with technology-enabled learning environments
- Ability to handle ambiguity and solve problems independently
- Strong documentation and reporting discipline
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree (Education, Management, Psychology, or related fields preferred)
- 25 years of experience in academic operations, student engagement, or campus management
- Prior experience with ed-tech programs is a strong advantage
