Role & responsibilities

The Technical Coordinator Solar Projects will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring rooftop solar projects ranging from kilowatt (kW) to megawatt (MW) capacities. The role involves preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with vendors, contractors, and installation teams, ensuring timely project execution, maintaining project documentation, and providing office-based technical support to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the execution of rooftop solar projects from project initiation to commissioning.
- Handle residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional solar projects ranging from kW to MW capacities.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) based on approved engineering designs and project requirements.
- Coordinate procurement requirements with the purchase department and vendors.
- Monitor daily site installation activities and provide technical guidance to field teams.
- Track project progress, installation quality, timelines, and completion status.




- Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
- Coordinate project documentation, including commissioning reports, completion reports, warranties, and handover documents.
- Maintain project MIS, material tracking records, and installation status updates.
- Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of rooftop solar PV systems.
- Experience in executing kW and MW solar projects.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, solar components, inverters, modules, structures, AC/DC cabling, and protection systems.
- Ability to prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Knowledge of project planning and coordination.
- Vendor and contractor management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
