Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Costing & Pricing

- Prepare and validate product cost sheets (standard & actual costing)

- Analyze BOM (Bill of Materials) and routing structures

- Support management in pricing decisions

- Ensure correct allocation of overheads

2. Cost Control & Monitoring

- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs

- Identify cost-saving opportunities

- Implement cost reduction initiatives

- Track cost variances (standard vs actual)

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Assist in annual budgeting process

- Prepare cost forecasts

- Analyze production budgets vs actual

4. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare monthly cost MIS reports

- Provide profitability analysis by product / project

- Support management with cost-related insights

5. Inventory & Valuation

- Oversee inventory valuation

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards

- Coordinate physical stock verification

6. Internal Controls & Compliance

- Establish robust cost control systems

- Support internal & statutory audits

- Ensure compliance with financial policies

7. Team Management

- Lead and mentor costing team

- Coordinate with production, procurement & finance departments
