Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager Dry Store is responsible for managing day-to-day dry store operations including inventory control, material receiving, storage, issuance, stock accuracy, vendor coordination, and compliance with food safety standards. The role ensures timely availability of packaging and dry materials for smooth operations across outlets and production units.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Store Operations

- Manage inward and outward movement of dry store materials.
- Ensure proper storage of packaging materials, bakery ingredients, disposables, and consumables.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices for all inventory items.
- Conduct daily stock verification and periodic physical audits.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate for replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP/Excel systems.

Material Handling & Documentation

- Verify GRN, invoices, challans, and delivery quantities.
- Ensure proper documentation for stock transfer and issuance.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material requirements.
- Maintain stock registers and inventory reports.

Team Management

- Supervise store assistants and warehouse staff.




- Allocate daily work responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dry store area.
- Ensure materials are stored as per company SOPs and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.

Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with vendors, logistics teams, and outlet operations.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Highlight slow-moving, excess, or near-expiry inventory to management.

Qualifications:

- Graduate preferred (Supply Chain / Commerce / Operations).
- 3–6 years of experience in store/warehouse operations, preferably in QSR, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Retail industry.

Preferred Industry Experience:

- Bakery/QSR/Food Manufacturing
- Retail Warehouse Operations
- FMCG Supply Chain
