Role Summary
We are looking for a highly driven Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of all infrastructure and construction projects across Amwoodo's manufacturing plants, warehouses, corporate offices, retail spaces, R&D; facilities, and other business locations. The role demands strong project management capabilities with expertise in civil construction, industrial infrastructure, vendor management, budgeting, quality control, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of infrastructure projects including factories, warehouses, corporate offices, experience centres, and commercial spaces.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocation plans, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, safety standards, and adherence to approved specifications.
- Manage project procurement including contractor selection, tendering, vendor negotiations, work order issuance, and contract administration.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, project estimates, material specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory approvals, environmental regulations, fire safety norms, and local building codes.
- Track project costs, prepare MIS reports, budget variance analyses, and management dashboards.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to avoid delays, cost overruns, and operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Leadership teams to align infrastructure projects with business expansion plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies, sustainability initiatives, and cost optimization.
- Oversee project commissioning, snag closure, documentation, and final handover.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Construction Management or Project Management will be preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2,
or equivalent Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 9+ years of experience in infrastructure or industrial construction projects.
- Proven experience in executing manufacturing plants, industrial buildings, warehouses, commercial buildings, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience in green building initiatives, sustainable infrastructure, or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
