The Opportunity

We are looking for a Staff AI Engineer with 2-4 years of overall experience to contribute to building and deploying AI-driven products and services. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Python and Generative AI, and has a working foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Transformer architectures. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented position with strong learning opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with senior engineers to develop features, build and integrate APIs, and support the deployment and scaling of AI solutions.
- Contribute to building and deploying AI-driven products and services.
- Develop REST/APIs and integrate AI models into applications.
- Support deployment of models/services to production environments.
- Participate in application scaling and performance optimization efforts.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for AI solution delivery.

Skills and attributes for success

- Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of overall hands-on experience in software/AI engineering (not limited to Generative AI).
- Demonstrated experience contributing to AI/ML projects or applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its AI/ML ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings).




- Working knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with NLP and Transformer-based architectures.
- Experience developing REST/APIs and integrating AI models into applications.
- Awareness of application scaling and performance considerations.
- Some hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Some experience in deploying models/services to production environments.

Ideally, youll also

- Exposure to Agentic AI concepts (tool/function calling, agent workflows).
- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
- Exposure to vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search).
- Basic familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices.
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
- Exposure to Azure AI/OpenAI services or Azure ML.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
