Justification for the vacancy:

Client-facing BA/QA embedded in consulting engagements. Owns the full requirements, QA and UAT lifecycle from discovery workshops to sign-off working within a delivery team led by a TDM. Expected to translate complex, often ambiguous client needs into structured, defensible functional and data requirements. Ability to ramp up quick on new domains (O&G;, polymers, chemicals, materials) is as important as prior domain experience

3+ years of BA/QA or data analyst experience in consulting or client-facing delivery. No degree requirement. Candidates must demonstrate: a portfolio of requirements artifacts, workshop facilitation experience, and at least one UAT cycle they owned end-to-end.

Forward thinking is non-negotiable: candidates must describe a problem they identified and resolved before it was escalated to them.

Essential Skills:

- Can produce complete BRD or functional spec for data analytics projects from raw workshop notes no coaching required.
- Has run at least 2 end-to-end UAT cycles: built the test plan, triaged defects, and obtained client sign-off.
- Can define data scope for a feature in writing: source fields, transformations, validation rules, and expected output.
- Has facilitated a workshop with 8+ external stakeholders and produced a structured output (user journey, prioritized backlog, or process map).
- Can identify and reject a scope creep defect in UAT in writing, with traceability back to agreed requirements.
- Can produce a functional wireframe or mockup using an AI-assisted tool (Figma AI, Uizard, or equivalent) without design team support.




- Can write executable acceptance criteria Given/When/Then or equivalent that a developer and tester interpret identically.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence is desired

Experience Required: 3+ Years

Role & responsibilities:

- Lead structured requirement gathering sessions with external client teams across business and IT stakeholders.
- Design and run discovery and design thinking workshops problem framing, journey mapping, requirements prioritization from preparation through output documentation.
- Translate outputs into functional specifications, user stories, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain full requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Produce UX wireframes and low-to-mid fidelity mockups using AI-assisted tools (Figma AI, Uizard, Galileo, or equivalent) to validate requirements visually before development.
- Use visual artifacts as a formal sign-off mechanism with client stakeholders to reduce downstream ambiguity.
- Own QA and UAT planning, test scenario definition, execution coordination, defect triage, and sign-off.
- Verify/Validate and then Defend functional and data scope decisions in UAT document rationale, reject out-of-scope defects with evidence, escalate legitimate gaps.
- Maintain requirements and UAT artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.

Domain exposure required (1 or more):

- Oil & Gas: upstream, midstream, or downstream.
- Polymers, specialty chemicals, or petrochemicals.
- Energy trading or utilities.
- Materials manufacturing or industrial processing.

Nice-to-have:

- CBAP, SAFe BA, or equivalent certification.
- SQL or basic data querying for UAT data validation.
- Exposure to ERP or asset management platforms (SAP, Oracle, Maximo).
- Experience in data migration or master data management projects
