Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate daily fleet operations to ensure on-time delivery and efficient vehicle utilization.
- Plan and schedule vehicle routes based on operational requirements.
- Assign drivers and vehicles while optimizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor vehicle movement using GPS and fleet management systems.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance schedules, and vehicle performance.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle servicing.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, driver logs, permits, insurance, and vehicle documentation.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, customers, and vendors to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Handle breakdowns, delays, and emergency situations with quick decision-making.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet performance reports and operational dashboards.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce logistics costs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in fleet coordination, transportation, or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and transportation management software.
- Understanding of transportation regulations and vehicle compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
