Job Title: Commercial Head Plant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Head Plant to lead and manage the complete commercial operations of our textile manufacturing facility. This leadership role entails end-to-end responsibility for General Stores, Raw Material Godown, and Finished Goods Warehouse Management. The ideal candidate will oversee local procurement, coordinate with corporate materials and finance departments, and ensure smooth execution of commercial processes including inventory control, dispatch logistics, and scrap disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

- Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Oversee General Stores, Raw Material Storage, and Finished Goods Warehousing.
- Ensure timely inward and outward movement of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective planning and monitoring.

- Dispatch & Logistics:

- Manage finished goods dispatch operations ensuring accuracy, documentation, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistic partners for seamless distribution.

- Local Procurement:

- Handle local purchases as per plant requirements, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
- Liaise with approved vendors and develop new local suppliers where required.

- Scrap & Waste Disposal:

- Identify and implement cost-effective processes for scrap disposal and sale of process waste.
- Ensure compliance with company norms and environmental guidelines.





- Interdepartmental Coordination:

- Act as a bridge between plant operations and corporate teams (Materials, Finance, Engineering, etc.).
- Support Finance for audit, reconciliation, and cost control processes.

- Team Leadership & Compliance:

- Lead a team of storekeepers, logistics personnel, and commercial executives.
- Monitor team performance, provide training, and ensure process compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and internal SOPs related to materials and commercial functions.
- Job Specifications:

- Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce/Materials Management/Operations or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 1520 years in Commercial functions within a textile or manufacturing setup.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a team leadership role in a large organization (turnover of 100 Cr or above).

- Industry Preference: Textile manufacturing, Apparel, or related industrial sectors.

Key Competencies:

- Robust knowledge of plant commercial operations and inventory systems.
- Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel, and data analytics for inventory and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Sound understanding of statutory compliance related to commercial and logistics operations.
- Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and corporate stakeholders.
