Full Stack Developer (Team Lead) About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities to join our team. This role goes beyond hands-on development you will be responsible for client communication, sprint planning, and mentoring/managing a team of developers, while actively contributing to architecture and code. The ideal candidate is someone who can balance strong technical delivery with team leadership and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Technical Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, Next.js, and Laravel

- Build and optimize both front-end and back-end components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness

- Design and manage MySQL database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to standards

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack

Client Interaction
- Participate in client calls to understand requirements, provide technical inputs, and gather feedback

- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks for the team

- Provide regular project updates and status reports to clients and stakeholders

- Act as a key technical point of contact for client queries and concerns

Team Project Management
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives following Agile/Scrum methodology

- Break down project requirements into user stories, estimate effort, and assign tasks to team members





- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers, supporting their technical growth

- Monitor team performance, ensure timely delivery, and manage project timelines

- Coordinate with QA, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution

- Identify project risks and roadblocks, and proactively propose solutions

Required Skills Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in full stack development

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Next.js (React ecosystem)

- Solid hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP framework)

- Strong command over MySQL schema design, query optimization, indexing

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

- Good understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)

- Prior experience in a team lead or senior developer role managing a small-to-mid-sized team

- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles requirement gathering, status updates, and communication

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, and estimation techniques

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

- Experience with deployment processes and basic understanding of cloud/hosting environments

Valuable to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture

- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines





- Exposure to project management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, etc.)

- Understanding of UI/UX best practices

- Experience with TypeScript

Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client interaction is a core part of this role)

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Ability to multitask between hands-on coding, planning, and client communication

- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach

- Ownership and accountability for project outcomes
