* ABOUT THE ROLE

Arte Designs LLP is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Assistant Designer to join our professional design team in Kolkata. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior designers to transform conceptual ideas into exquisite residential and commercial spaces.

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Support: Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and developing interior design schemes for residential and commercial projects.

Drafting & Visualization: Prepare high-quality 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Site Visits: Coordinate with clients and contractors during site visits for exact measurements, material selection, and rigorous project execution.

Material & Vendor Coordination: Source appropriate materials, prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and liaise with vendors for samples and competitive quotations.

Documentation: Create professional presentations, comprehensive mood boards, and detailed project documentation.

Project Execution: Support budgeting, project timelines, and on-site implementation to ensure exact design intent is maintained.





* REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related creative field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience within a reputable interior design firm.

Software Proficiency: Expert command over AutoCAD, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Design Skills: Strong aesthetic sense with extensive knowledge of materials, color theory, and contemporary design trends.

Professional Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a strong collaborative team spirit, and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects.
