It operates through company-owned outlets and central kitchens, with strong focus on quality, branding, and customer experience.

Position : Assistant Manager - Operational Excellence

Location : Govandi (E) in Mumbai

Education : B.E (Any Specialization)

Certification : Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is mandatory

Additional certifications in TPM, WCM, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence will be an advantage.

Experience :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement.
- Experience in Bakery, Food Processing, FMCG or Manufacturing industries preferred.

Certification : Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is Mandatory

Job Purpose :

To drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations through Lean methodology and Quality Management Systems, and data-driven problem-solving. The role is responsible for improving productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and overall operational efficiency across manufacturing sites

Key Responsibilities :

1. Continuous Improvement:

- Facilitate Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Visual management & Waste elimination initiatives across plants.
- Identify improvement opportunities through Data analysis, Gemba walks, Process mapping.
- Drive productivity improvement, quality improvement,



cost reduction and process optimization projects.
- Conduct Time Study, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) studies and implement improvement actions.
- Develop SOPs, Work Instructions, Checklists, and Standard Work procedures.
- Support implementation of QMS, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other operational standards.

2. Project Management :

- Manage Operational Excellence projects from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
- Track project milestones, timelines, and savings realization.
- Prepare monthly review presentations for management.

3. Performance Management :

- Develop & monitor Operational Excellence KPIs including Productivity, QHSE, Waste, OTIF and Cost metrics.
- Create dashboards and reports.
- Track project progress and perks, ensure sustainability of improvements.

4. Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis :

- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and PDCA.
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving chronic operational issues.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects to address quality, productivity, and efficiency gaps.
