Role & Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Ensure all project activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Conduct inspections of DG set installation, fuel systems, exhaust systems, electrical panels, cable laying, and associated MEP works during various stages of execution.
- Review and approve Inspection Requests (IR/RFI), Material Inspection Reports (MIR), test reports, and quality documentation submitted by contractors and vendors.
- Monitor incoming material inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Identify quality deviations and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely closure through appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Conduct regular quality audits, surveillance inspections, and process reviews to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Verify method statements, quality procedures, and installation practices before commencement of work.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and OEMs to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all testing, inspection, and commissioning records are accurately maintained and incorporated into project handover documentation.
- Monitor quality KPIs and prepare periodic quality reports for project management and clients.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and project execution.




- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and client-specific quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- 38 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for Data Centre, DG, EPC, MEP, Power, or Industrial Infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience in quality inspection of Diesel Generator (DG) installation, electrical systems, mechanical works, fuel systems, and MEP installations.
- Strong knowledge of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Request for Inspection (RFI), and commissioning documentation.
- Positive understanding of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, National Building Code (NBC), IS Codes, IEC Standards, and client quality requirements.
- Experience in managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), CAPA, quality audits, and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.

- Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma Certification
- QA/QC Certification
- NDT Level II Certification (where applicable)
