Role Overview

The AGM /DGM Accounts & Finance will play a leadership role in managing the company’s overall financial operations, statutory compliances, and governance requirements. The position will involve overseeing plant finance, corporate finance, taxation, and reporting, while also acting as a strategic partner to senior management in driving profitability, cost efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Lead preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IND-AS.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements for a listed entity.
- Manage quarterly/annual results reporting to the Board and Stock Exchanges.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making at corporate and plant levels.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate capex proposals, ROI analysis, and project feasibility.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance





- Oversee direct & indirect taxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing).
- Ensure timely filing of returns, assessments, and representation before tax authorities.
- Implement changes as per evolving tax/regulatory frameworks.

Cost Control & Plant Finance

- Oversee plant-level finance teams to ensure proper costing, MIS, and profitability tracking.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across operations.
- Monitor efficiency through KPIs and financial dashboards.

Leadership & Systems

- Lead and mentor finance teams across corporate and plant locations.
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and governance practices.
- Drive automation and ERP-enabled financial processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in manufacturing/packaging industry.
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role handling multi-plant operations in a reputed company.
- Strong knowledge of IND-AS, SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and taxation.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial management and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
- Willing to travel to plants.
