Job Responsibilities:

Deliver Test Architect/Manager responsibilities over multiple testing projects. Provide support to QA leadership team by taking ownership of some of the key strategic initiatives. Brings in industry expertise and knowledge into testing to drive innovation and new capabilities for testing. Play anchor role in test design, test scope definition, test automation and quality metrics.

Job Role:

- Functional & Technical expertise role in developing & identifying tools that will optimise and improve the quality of testing
- Contribute to impact analysis, test estimations, test planning for project

Define test model (test scope) based on user stories and conduct risk assessment workshops

to create a fully signed off test scope of the programme/project.

- Set up and Execute tests using both automation tools and manual methods as applicable

aligning to overall test strategy defined.

- Analyse the defects and direct development teams with appropriate details and contribute to the problem resolution.
- Review Integrated Setting dependencies and highlight the risks for the Programmes
- Define overall workplace and data approach for the programme/project.
- Create test scenarios/ scripts/ data sheets/ sample data to assist the test team in

implementing the test approach.

- Drive Test Automation, Automation Strategy, Tool selection etc. within programme/project.




- Support performance management of Test Analysts by mentoring and training the team on methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Understand the Systems Architecture, Test Environments landscape and share your

understanding within the team

- Escalate any issues to Delivery Head as appropriate and in timely manner and provide

options to resolve the issues.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership:

- Key stakeholders are Test Lead, Test Architect, Business Analyst, Technical Leads/Architects,

and Solution Designers

- Decision-making and Problem Solving
- Judgement and analytical skills required to resolve complex technical and functional problems within end to end testing landscape. The role is key for delivering quality and on-

time execution of the testing.

- Risk and Control Objective
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory

requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies

and Policy Standards

Knowledge/Qualifications:

- Top - notch Technical skills in XML, ePub, eBooks, iPad Books, Android Books, Digital Books, Mobile Books is required.
- Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 18 to 22 years experience in technology related roles including relevant work as technical

architect.

- Open Systems and tools Selenium, Java, Jenkins, J2EE, Web-services, APIs, XML, JSON,

Parasoft/SoaTest API testing , Mid-Tier technology MQ, WebSphere, UNIX, API 3rd party

hosting platforms, Data warehouse ETL, Informatica, Ab-initio, Oracle, Hadoop

- Domain Knowledge in Assessment, eBook, LMS, K12, and testing experience in one or more core learning product platforms/systems
