At Clariant, we're looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support our business across the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cross-border commercial transactions, collaborate with global stakeholders, and contribute to a company recognized for innovation, sustainability, and an inclusive culture.

Location

Airoli, Navi Mumbai (Hybrid: Currently 3 days in office and 2 days remote, subject to business requirements.)

What you'll do

- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial agreements, including Supply, Distribution, Tolling, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Joint Ventures, M&A; transactions, and other business contracts across the EMEA region.
- Partner with Business Units and corporate functions to provide practical legal advice and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and Clariant's internal policies.
- Support litigation matters by coordinating with external counsel and managing legal documentation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on potential impacts.
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders while driving commercially sound legal solutions.

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law.
- 10+ years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Experience in both a leading law firm and an in-house legal team is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Exposure to litigation support and contract management.
- Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-border transactions.
- Knowledge of Antitrust Law.




- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a solid business mindset.
- Manufacturing or chemical industry experience will be an added advantage.
- AIBE qualification and Bar Council enrollment preferred but not mandatory.
