Tribal Apparel is looking for a talented and driven Senior Designer to lead denim design across our seasonal collections. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for a designer who lives and breathes denim someone with deep knowledge of fabrics and washes, a strong creative eye, and the drive to see a collection through from concept to production. You'll work closely with our global teams and factory partners across Asia to bring each season's range to life on time and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualise and build complete denim collections for every season, from trend research and concept through to final production-ready designs.
- Drive the design process end-to-end and take ownership of getting work completed from factories within stipulated timelines.
- Develop and refine denim fabrics, washes, finishes and detailing to a high standard.
- Use AI design platforms and tools to accelerate and elevate the design and development process.
- Collaborate with sourcing, merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are executable and on-brand.
- Coordinate directly with factories in India and overseas,



driving quality and speed at every stage.
- Travel frequently within India and internationally, including extended overseas stays of 3–4 weeks for urgent assignments when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of apparel design experience, with strong, demonstrable expertise in denim.
- In-depth knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, finishes and garment construction.
- Proficiency with AI platforms and tools for fashion/apparel design.
- A genuine go-getter — proactive, self-driven, and able to deliver independently as an individual contributor.
- Willing and able to travel frequently within India and overseas, including extended assignments abroad.
- Versatile to take late-evening calls with our US headquarters 2–3 times a week.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Mumbai.
