Purpose of Role:

The Treasury & Tax Lead is accountable for shaping and executing the organizations treasury strategy and both direct and indirect tax strategies. Reporting to the CFO, this leader manages a team of Treasury Specialists, Digital Treasury (DT) Specialists, and Indirect Tax (IDT) Specialists, ensuring that cash, liquidity, risk, and tax functions are aligned with overall corporate objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Overall effectiveness of organizations Treasury Strategy

- Strategic recommendations to the leadership on Cash flow and Working Capital Optimization

- Investment decision providing effective returns

- Overall effectiveness of organizations Direct & Indirect Tax Strategy

- Overall effectiveness of the Taxation framework built for the organization

- Overall Indirect Tax savings for the organization

Technical Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of cash management tools, treasury management systems (e.g., Treasury, SAP Treasury) and ERP finance modules.

- Advanced Excel/Power Query skills; experience with financial modelling and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.





- Familiarity with short term investment products (money market, commercial paper, repos) and related risk management techniques.

- In depth knowledge of GST, Customs tax frameworks.

- Proficiency with tax compliance software and ERP financial modules.

- Advanced Excel/Power Query skills; experience with tax analytics or modelling tools is a plus.

- Excellent communication and decision making skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (local language as required).

- Robust analytical, problem solving, and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively across finance, legal, and business teams while managing multiple priorities.

- Achieve 100% on time filing for all direct and indirect tax compliance obligations.

- Optimize the effective tax rate to stay within statutory limits while maximizing tax efficiency.

- Maintain Investment Portfolio return as per benchmark

Educational Background:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant / Masters in business administration.
