Position - Sr. Lead Scientist - Emulsion polymerization

Role & responsibilities

- Scheduling and prioritizing daily experimental bench-work; Working knowledge/understanding of Design of experiments. Maintaining experiment record as per the system.
- Work involves laboratory experimentation, screening, and testing activities as per the development needs. pilot-trials, product scale up, product demonstration at customer site.
- Development activity for Emulsion polymers for paints, coating, adhesives etc.
- Establish structure-property relationships in polymers with respect to applications.
- Evaluation of the products with respect to various benchmarks for different applications like- paint, coatings, construction chemicals and adhesives.
- Analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate the outcome.




- Monitors stocks related to laboratory materials/chemicals; responsible for overall relevant store keeping.
- Participates in developing quality control procedures for manufacturing of products.
- Having knowledge of QMS 9001:2015 , EHS, 5 S activity at work place
- Responsible to implement and maintain product and laboratory safety practices.
- Ensure effective implementation of Major initiative and periodic tracking its progress.
- Basic knowledge on Microsoft words , Excel , Power point presentation etc .

Candidate Profile

- M.Sc. / B. Tech / M. Tech / Ph.D in polymer/ coatings/ paints/adhesive with 8-15 years of industrial experience in the field of Coating / construction chemical and/or adhesives industries and products skills.
- Should have emulsion(preferred) or polymer synthesis background.
