Role & responsibilities
- Perform serology and clinical pathology tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results.
- Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Report abnormal findings to the concerned supervisor/pathologist.
- Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables.
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
