A Tender Executive manages the end-to-end bidding process, sourcing opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring timely submission of tenders, particularly for government or private contracts. They coordinate documentation, analyze tender requirements, and maintain compliance to maximize win rates.

Role & responsibilities

- Tender Identification: Monitor, search, and identify relevant tenders using online portals like GeM (Government e-Marketplace), CPP Portal, and industry websites.
- Analysis & Review: Review tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, Tender Notices) to identify scope of work, eligibility criteria, and commercial requirements.
- Documentation & Preparation: Prepare, collate, and compile all necessary technical documentation, pre-qualifications, commercial proposals, and tender questionnaires.
- Coordination: Collaborate with internal teamssuch as sales, technical, finance, and legalto gather inputs and ensure compliance with tender terms.
- Submission & Deadline Management: Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders online or offline, ensuring all documentation is in the required format.
- Follow-Up:



Follow up with clients or authorities regarding tender status, clarifications, and post-bid meetings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain a comprehensive database of tender applications, status updates, and outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 15 years of relevant experience in tendering, proposals, or sales support.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-procurement portals (e.g., GeM, e-tender portals).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze commercial terms, contract conditions, and financial criteria.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for preparing proposals and communicating with stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent technical diploma).
