Roles & Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the project Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) plan.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local construction safety regulations, and company safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Monitor high-risk activities including:
- Work at height
- Tower crane operations
- Lifting and rigging
- Scaffolding
- Excavation and confined space entry
- Electrical works
- Hot work activities
- Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents,
and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on site.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire drills, and evacuation plans.
- Maintain safety records, permits, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to improve site safety performance.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports for management.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and zero-incident environment.
