We at MEIL are looking for Plant & Machinery Engineers for TBM & NATM Tunnelling projects

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra & Udipi, Karnataka

Education: Diploma/BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 - 12 yrs

Note: Tunnelling projects Experience is preferable

Role & responsibilities:

1. Ensure all plant and machinery are available and in valuable working condition for project activities.
2. Plan and carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of TBM, NATM, and other construction equipment.
3. Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime to support project progress.
4. Coordinate with site, operations, and maintenance teams for smooth equipment deployment.
5. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, equipment utilization, and fuel consumption.
6.



Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, lubricants, and consumables.
7. Supervise mechanics, electricians, and equipment operators during maintenance activities.
8. Ensure all machinery is operated safely and complies with company and statutory safety requirements.
9. Coordinate with equipment suppliers and OEMs for technical support and major repairs.
10. Prepare daily and monthly reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and machinery performance.
