Job Description Job Summary/Overview

Data Quality is a key operational driver for the Data Analytics Organization

This role is focused on designing and facilitating Data Quality Management (DQM) processes and tools, which directly support business processes

The Data Quality Lead collaborates with various data consumers and contributors to ensure that data quality is measured and managed effectively

The role works closely with the Data Governance Lead, Master Data Management (MDM) Lead, and other members of the Data Analytics team

Roles and Responsibilities

- Join the Data Management team, contributing to the development, scaling, and implementation of policies, guidelines, tools, and processes to drive a data-driven culture

- Lead the data quality team and manage the data management capability, including outlining the strategy and strategic roadmap for Data Quality management

- Oversee the definition and implementation of Data Quality Management processes and supporting tools, ensuring the design and execution of data quality procedures

- Measure data quality across all governed master data objects such as material, vendor, customer, and finance objects

Ensure that updates are appropriate, authorized, and documented, in compliance with the master data governance framework, standards, service level agreements (SLAs), policies, and procedures

- Lead initiatives to pilot and implement data quality capabilities, including the design and implementation of processes for data quality checks, reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution of data quality issues, as well as the rollout of supporting tools





- Collect and manage data standards, business rules, and related key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Collaborate with the data platform, data governance, and data analyst teams

- Provide training and business support for Data Quality Management (DQM) tools

- Execute and support compliance with established policies and standards

- Analyze data feeds and reconcile reports critical to daily operations, ensuring adherence to data privacy requirements

- Facilitate DQM processes by monitoring and coordinating maintenance activities, identifying and resolving bugs, and supporting changes to rules in the DQM tool

Job Specification

- Qualification: Bachelors degree or Graduation in BE/B TECH

Required Soft Skills

- Strong understanding and experience with data quality frameworks, methodologies, and tools for data profiling, cleansing, validation, and contemporary data quality management concepts

- 3 6 years of relevant professional experience in data quality management

- Excellent understanding of the business impact of data and data quality

- Good communication skills and proficiency

- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment

- Experience with DQM tools and data catalogs

- Experience with SAP ECC or S4/HANA, as well as other enterprise applications

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or shared services is preferred
